Abstract
Description
The Teton Range is home to a small population of bighorn sheep whose conservation status is of concern because of its small size, isolation from neighboring herds, low genetic diversity, and loss of historic winter range. This presentation discusses the current status of the Teton Range bighorn sheep herd, highlighting both the conservation measures taken to shore up the herds future and the challenges the herd still faces for long-term persistence.
