Abstract
Description
This capstone follows the process of the complete architectural design, structural design, and construction documentation of a four-bedroom house. This was done with an emphasis on creating a logical, aesthetic, economical, and efficient design that could be easily constructed by a contractor. The theoretical client chose a site in a hypothetical location outside the city limits of Laramie, WY, and requested a walkout basement and a retaining wall, adding additional complexity to the design. Overall, this project demonstrates experience in the thorough design of a residential home.
