The federal Clean Water Act directs states to review their SWQS at least once every three years, known as a triennial review. The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality decided to pursue a collaborative public process that utilized a group of representative stakeholders to provide input, perspectives, and suggestions to inform WDEQ's triennial review of the SWQS.
