The primary goals are to address environmental impacts, reduce recreational conflicts, and enhance user experience. Our findings highlight management challenges, including illegal dumping, lack of clear parking areas, lack of public awareness, and unsafe zoning conflicts between recreational activities. Recommendations included developing recreational shooting infrastructure and designating specific zones for climbing, shooting, and OHV use. We have also outlined potential public engagement campaigns that will focus on responsible recreation and trash management. Collaborative efforts with local organizations and stakeholders will ensure broad support and effective implementation. With these recommendations, Roger Canyon can become a model for multi-use recreation areas, balancing the needs of different user groups and protecting the natural environment.enAttribution-ShareAlike 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/RecreationTourismCapstoneOutdoorsAssessmentRoger Canyon Multi-Use Recreation Area Assessment and Recommendations 2025 Executive SummaryReport
