This paper aims to explore some of the difficulties that will have to be overcome and possible solutions to them in order to have a successful attempt at establishing a Martian colony, as well as exploring reasons why we should be going through the difficultly of setting up the colony and what we stand to gain from it. I argue that we should be supporting attempts to develop technology to set up a colony on Mars, that we stand to gain far more than we lose in the process.https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ColonizationMarsthesis
