Western, Jessica
Gerace, Selena
Abstract
This summary provides results from a survey conducted by researchers at the University of Wyoming’s Ruckelshaus Institute of Environment and Natural Resources and School of Energy Resources of Wyoming residents’ values and beliefs related to the state's energy future. Part of a two-phased social science study of values and beliefs regarding the future of energy production and development among Wyoming residents, future analyses will explore the relationship between demographic data and the values and beliefs measured in the survey. The second phase of this study slated for summer 2020 will consist of interviews with individuals involved in and/or who are negatively or positively affected by energy production in Wyoming to explore the reasons for these survey results.
