Abstract
Description
This past year I have worked with a group of computer science students to make a web scrapping application for our senior design project. My task was to create and implement a Facebook marketplace API. Both eBay and Craigslist already have public-facing APIs so it was fairly straightforward for us to develop and retrieve data from those sites. Facebook required scraping their direct website through the server code. This was my part of the project where I had to retrieve their raw data and cipher it into a useable API. I then collected the historical data, filtered it, and displayed it on the front end of the website. Play media comment.
