Abstract
Description
The Rawlins Peak SW (WSGS Open File Report 15-6) and Shamrock Hills (WSGS Open File Report 15-7) 1:24000-scale quadrangles are located in south-central Wyoming on the eastern margin of the Great Divide Basin, a sub-basin of the Greater Green River Basin. Upper Cretaceous through Eocene formations were studied from these two maps in addition to the sedimentology, geochronology, and coal stratigraphy. This report contains descriptions and data from both maps.
