Item Digital data for the interactive oil and gas map of Wyoming(University of Wyoming Libraries, 2025-02-28) Ring, J.D.; Ochoa, R.I.; Stafford, J.E.The data release updates the GIS files and attribute tables for the online oil and gas map of Wyoming from the Wyoming State Geological Survey. The data provided includes over 57,000 wells that were analyzed and used to determine the producing intervals, predominant ages, and boundaries of the named oil and gas fields. Also included in the data are updates to hydrocarbon infrastructure, production data by basin, and proposed development areas. The data supersedes the underlying data of: Toner, R.N., Lynds, R.M., Stafford, J.E., and Lichtner, D.T., 2023, Interactive oil and gas map of Wyoming: Wyoming State Geological Survey, at https://portal.wsgs.wyo.gov/arcgis/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=d42f571b87fa4234b03d66ca7ae311a4.Item 2024 Uranium Resources Summary(University of Wyoming Libraries, 2025-01) Wyoming State Geological SurveyThis is the report for 2024 Uranium Resources for the state of Wyoming. Established in 1933, the Wyoming State Geological Survey (WSGS) has a long-standing history of mapping and reporting on the state’s oil and gas resources. Over the decades, the WSGS has continually refined its oil and gas publications, offering critical data to state agencies, industry partners, and the general public. Below is a curated list of resources that showcase the agency’s vital work on Wyoming’s oil and gas development.Item Digital data for the geologic map of the Douglas 30' x 60' quadrangle, Wyoming(University of Wyoming Libraries, 2025-02-06) Wyoming State Geological SurveyThe bedrock geologic map of the Douglas, Wyoming 1:100,000 quadrangle was developed to provide regional scale geologic mapping for city and county planning, industrial and mineral development, and general public use.
