The article, Three Reasons Caveat Praeceptor Must Guide the Selection of any Reading Intervention includes a case study of a Rocky Mountain area school district's pilot study of a commercial reading intervention. The article provides three reasons why an administrator must take particular care and ownership of reading intervention programs. Finally, the author provides an Action Plan for administrators involved in reading program selection.
