Ethical Leadership: Analyzing Ethical Leadership in Businesses Based on Six Principles

thesis
posted on 2021-11-15, 18:44 authored by Courtney Yarrington
Every year, the Better Business Bureau Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming hosts the Torch Awards, a ceremony to honor and reward local businesses that have displayed superior ethical leadership. As an Ethics Scholar Intern, I was paired with two different nominated businesses to research, interview, and analyze to determine the specific ways in which they met and exceeded the six TRUST! Principles that serve as the Torch Award criteria. Through this process, I received first-hand experiences with and an up-close look into businesses that are well-respected and considered ethical leaders in their community. For this project, I would like to focus on one of those businesses, Exodus Moving & Storage, which was selected as a Torch Award winner, and share the values, practices, and standards that set this business apart as an ethical steward and model in its industry in reference to the Torch Award criteria: the six TRUST! Principles.
