Conversations between two friends are one of life's more enjoyable moments, especially when shared over a cup of coffee. This thesis uses a conversational framework of a philosophical dialogue to synthesize works that I had read and engaged with during my time in the Honors College. Inspired by Plato and Denis Diderot, this dialogue investigates issues such as community and technology and how ideas from authors like Franz Kafka, Arthur Schopenhauer, and Robert Pirsig, among numerous others, can influence our modern understanding of these ideas and beyond.
