Studying Organic Chemistry in Thailand

After working in a chemistry laboratory in Bangkok, Thailand, Jordan started writing about the connections between academic research and the larger world. Her essays explore themes as diverse as pharmaceutical development, scuba diving, and karmic theory. They attempt to explain the reasons people undertake basic research and illustrate the importance and beauty of scientific endeavors. The essays are written in a literary style and aimed at a general audience. The overall goal of the project is to celebrate science through art.
