posted on 2021-11-15, 18:32 authored by Jianbo LiuThe research project focuses on the study of monsoon precipitating cloud systems from various CMIP (Coupled Model Inter-comparison Project) climate models. Firstly, fifteen different climate models from the IPCC database have been used as the original dataset. Then, the cross-analysis among those model results was examined to lay the foundation for observational data analyses. After that, the precipitation changes under different climate change scenarios (such as, 20th century actual atmospheric condition and future climate under double CO2 concentration) have been analyzed, respectively. Finally, we are trying to figure out certain regions where the disagreements among models are extraordinarily large during the summer monsoon seasons.
