Nanopowder reinforced PEEK composites are of interest because the high strength and stiffness of PEEK makes it excellent candidate for a variety of applications. Inclusion of a suitable nanopowder allows the thermally induced shape memory effect to be triggered electrically or magnetically. The purpose of this study was to develop a repeatable manufacturing process and investigate the dynamic mechanical properties of MWCNT and CoFe2O4 reinforced PEEK composites. Additionally, the possibility of activating the shape memory effect of MWCNT reinforced PEEK using resistive heating was investigated.
