This technical memorandum presents the most current assessment of groundwater resources in the Wyoming portion of the Snake River and Salt River drainages in western Wyoming. The physical extent, hydraulic characteristics, water chemistry, and potential contaminants of the major aquifers are examined. Existing groundwater uses are described. The study also identifies opportunities for future groundwater development to meet projected agricultural, municipal, and industrial demands in these river basins.
