Select geology, oil, gas, and water wells of southeastern Wyoming

Increased interest in Oil and Gas production in the Denver Basin highlighted the need for a geologic overview of information in this area. Four 1:100,000k scale quadrangles that primarily make up the Wyoming portion of the Denver Basin, Cheyenne, Chugwater, Torrington, and Lusk. This map shows the associated portion of statewide bedrock geology and directs the user to more detailed maps that are available. Included are oil and gas production statistics for current and historical fields in the area and the locations of all permitted groundwater wells.
