Preliminary geologic map of the Rawlins Peak SW quadrangle, Carbon County, Wyoming

PalkovicThe Rawlins Peak SW 1:24000-scale quadrangles is located in south-central Wyoming on the eastern margin of the Great Divide Basin, a sub-basin of the Greater Green River Basin. Upper Cretaceous through Eocene formations were studied and mapped in addition to the sedimentology, geochronology, and coal stratigraphy. Data from the map are reported in WSGS Open File Report 15-8.
