Bee-hive Geyser, Yellowstone Park, Wyo., U.S.A.

The name of this geyser was suggested by the peculiar shape of its cone. Its eruptions are irregular, generally about three times daily. So hot is the water ejected that it, for the most part, evaporates while in the air. The height attained varies from 170 to 220 feet.
