Art Examining the Issues Surrounding African Wildlife Conservation

As an artist, I challenged myself to create a body of work of importance to myself that I could share with others. As an animal lover, I am deeply troubled by news of various animals demise at the hands of people. Africa especially host a unique and diverse population of animals with many slipping towards extinction at exponential rates. I don't want to have to only be able to see these creatures in a natural history museum, a textbook, or a zoo. Wildlife conservation is an issue that concerns everyone.
