Disclaimer: This is a large data set (190 GB) and may take a large amount of space on your computer and most files require a geophysics software program such as geospy or kogeo. The dataset contains a three-dimensional seismic survey of a 25-square-mile area around the test site. The seismic data allowed the researchers to extrapolate the geologic properties measured in the well — such as porosity, permeability, and fluid saturation — to the rocks throughout the two storage reservoirs and confining formations. The dataset is part of a carbon storage study designed to test the potential for secure, commercial-scale CO2 sequestration at the Rock Springs Uplift (RSU), Wyoming.
